City St George’s, University of London, is seeking a Senior Student Engagement Officer to lead student engagement and visa compliance activities within the School, focusing on improving continuation, progression, attainment and retention.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of student engagement, continuation and retention in an HEI context, with experience in this area, ideally including visa compliance.
• Strong IT skills and ability to design effective intervention systems, with an evidence-led approach to evaluating impacts.
• Commitment to tackling educational disadvantage and ability to work with senior academic leaders.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and evaluate the School's approach to student engagement and attendance, collaborating with the Associate Dean (Student Experience), Academic Standards & Student Experience Manager and central Student Success team to identify and intervene when students are at risk of disengagement or non-progression.
• Provide School-based support for students requiring reasonable adjustments.
