Novax Recruitment Ltd seeks an Estimator for a leading structural steel specialist in Leeds. You will take enquiries from initial review through to detailed tender, assessing drawings and specifications to price projects accurately and competitively.

The role provides exposure to a varied UK/European project portfolio, with close collaboration with Design, Contracts, Production and clients, focusing on commercial viability and timely bids.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in an estimating role.
• Experience in structural steel or related industries.
• Ability to interpret detailed drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and relationship-building.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Organised with strong time management.
• Relevant technical or engineering qualification is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Managing incoming enquiries and reviewing opportunities for commercial viability.
• Working from detailed drawings, specifications and project information.
• Preparing accurate and detailed estimates for clients.
• Reviewing quantities, materials, labour and other project requirements.
• Supporting the preparation and submission of tenders.
• Liaising with clients throughout the estimating and tender process.
• Working closely with Design, Contracts, Production and other internal departments.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Supporting the development of new client relationships and business opportunities.
• Managing multiple enquiries and tenders while working to tight deadlines.
• Ensuring estimates are commercially competitive while remaining achievable.
• Providing clear and accurate information to support successful project delivery.
