Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our client in Leeds. You will assume full commercial responsibility from contract award through to final account on structurally complex steel projects across the UK.

You’ll manage budgets, cost plans and commercial controls, preparing CVRs, cost reports and cash-flow forecasts while reporting to senior management. A strong track record in cost control, contract administration and subcontractor management is essential.

Competenze

• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction industry.
• Experience managing projects from contract award through to final account.
• Strong understanding of project cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Experience managing variations, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Strong contract administration and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Excellent understanding of commercial risk and margin protection.

Mansioni

• Take full commercial responsibility for allocated projects from contract award through to completion and final account.
• Establish and maintain project budgets, cost plans and commercial controls.
• Prepare, maintain and monitor CVRs, cost reports and cash-flow forecasts.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.
• Review contract documentation and protect the company's commercial entitlement.
• Manage variations, claims, and extensions of time where applicable.
• Negotiate valuations and final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, Engineers, Procurement and Site teams to meet commercial objectives.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost savings.
