Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within construction or engineering.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders while working to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and competitive estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Identify commercially viable opportunities and assess project risks.
• Build strong client relationships while supporting new business opportunities.
• Work closely with design, commercial and project delivery teams through the tender process.
• Prepare detailed costings and tender submissions within agreed timescales.
• Help shape bid strategies to maximise competitiveness and profitability.
