Interaction engineering is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in structural engineering. You will generate new business, secure high-value projects, and lead the business development team.

Reporting to Directors/Head of Operations, you will build long-term client partnerships with developers, architects, contractors and consultants, and lead tender submissions and negotiations to win strategic contracts.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience in business development or commercial management within engineering or construction.
• Proven track record of winning high-value contracts and growing revenue.
• Strong client relationship management and leadership skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the construction and engineering sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, architects, contractors and consultants.
• Manage key accounts and develop long-term client partnerships.
• Lead tender submissions, proposals and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities.
• Manage, motivate and develop the sales team, ensuring targets are achieved.
• Work closely with engineering and operational teams to support successful project delivery.
• Maintain sales pipelines, forecasts and management reports.
• Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
