Job summary

Arup is offering a 10–12-month internship for a student on a degree in General, Civil, Structural, Design or Architectural Engineering. You will shadow experienced engineers, perform structural analysis and modelling, and contribute to projects across transport, commercial, education, healthcare, and science sectors.

You will be mentored toward professional qualification, learn various software and design techniques, and develop your skills in a supportive, diverse environment at Arup.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Degree in General, Civil, Structural, Design or Architectural Engineering, at 2.1 or above.
• Studying, or have studied, an ICE accredited course.
• A passion for structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis, modelling and design during the internship.
• Assist with project work from inception to delivery, under supervision.
• Learn codes of practice, software and construction techniques.
