Arup is recruiting Structural Engineering students for a 6-week summer internship with our Buildings teams across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a student enthusiastic about the Building Design sector to join a multi-disciplinary team and gain hands-on experience.

Typical day-to-day tasks include carrying out structural calculations, analysis and modelling, and proposing economical and practical solutions that minimise embodied carbon.

Qualifications

• Studying towards MSc, MEng or BEng in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Genuine interest in structural engineering and developing a career in the built environment.

Responsabilités

• Carry out structural calculations, analysis and modelling.
• Propose economical and practical solutions that minimise embodied carbon.
• Communicate through drawings, digital modelling, calculations, meetings and reports.
