Arup is recruiting Structural Engineering students for a 6‑week summer internship with our Buildings teams across the UK. This is a great opportunity for motivated students to join a multi-disciplinary team and gain hands-on experience in the Building Design sector.

Typical tasks include structural calculations, analysis and modelling, selecting practical, economical details that minimise embodied carbon and align with project sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MSc, MEng or BEng in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
• Genuine interest in structural engineering and built environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural calculations, analysis and modelling as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Select economical, practical structures and details to meet sustainability goals.
• Prepare drawings, models and reports and communicate findings to the team.
