Mott MacDonald is seeking a Lighting Design Engineer to join our Street Lighting team in the UK. You will develop lighting designs, conduct site surveys, and support multi-disciplinary project delivery within a hybrid working environment.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with Lighting Reality and AutoCAD, plus knowledge of relevant UK standards. A strong client focus and collaborative approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have lighting design experience and be able to develop high-quality designs.
• Strong client relationships and ability to work in teams.
• Familiar with Lighting Reality software and lighting design standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to high-quality lighting and electrical designs and contract docs for project delivery.
• Undertake site surveys to inform design development and nighttime lighting assessments.
• Maintain technical credibility and build trusted client relationships for successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate design solutions.
