Job summary

Qualifications

• Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage workload effectively and deliver high‑quality outputs with supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conversant with lighting design software, particularly Lighting Reality
• Experience or practical working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of: National Highways DMRB and MCHDW standards, BS5489, BS EN 13201, BS7671 and ILP Technical Reports and guidance documents

Responsibilities

• Prepare lighting and electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and contract documentation to support project delivery.
• Undertake site surveys to inform design development and nighttime lighting assessments.
• Develop and maintain strong technical credibility and trusted relationships with clients, contributing to successful project outcomes within collaborative environments.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering and technical teams, ensuring effective coordination and integration of design solutions.
