Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Street Lighting Engineer to contribute to nationally significant transport and infrastructure projects across the UK. You will prepare lighting and electrical designs, undertake site surveys, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient lighting schemes.

The role offers hybrid working, a strong focus on technical development, and opportunities to progress within a growing Street Lighting discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum BEng/BSc in engineering or related field.
• Experience in lighting design or electrical design is desirable.
• Familiar with relevant standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to lighting and electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Undertake site surveys to inform design development and nighttime lighting assessments.
• Develop and maintain strong technical credibility and client relationships.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordinated design solutions.
