Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to join the team of BNY's Commercial Chief Operating Officer in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the commercial strategy, optimizing sales operations, and enhancing the overall client experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer in developing and implementing BNY's commercial strategy and new commercial model, aligning with BNY's principles and strategic pillars
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the Coverage and Client Service practices and BNY to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client experiences, improve operational efficiency, and power our culture
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, product teams, and functional experts
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform commercial strategy and operational decisions, through industry segment, geographical and product lenses
  • Oversee the development and execution of strategic and targeted commercial initiatives and buildouts, ensuring timely and effective delivery and communication
  • Deliver against different ways to "tell the story" of BNY's commercial transformation, both internally and to our external relations teams
  • Foster a culture of innovation, with a focus on practical and effective applications of Artificial Intelligence, working with BNY's AI Hub
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and BNY's policies
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing client experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial strategy and sales operations and enablement
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex data, and make informed decisions
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the financial services industry and market trends
  • Fluency in languages other than English is a plus
