Job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Junior Strategist to join Digitas, working with a leading global consumer electronics brand. This is a hands-on role for someone looking to build their career in CRM and customer strategy, combining campaign execution and planning with data, insight and research.

You'll help turn strategy into effective customer communications, supporting everything from always-on and lifecycle CRM to major campaigns and quarterly planning. Working closely with strategy, data, creative, client services and project management teams, you'll learn how customer insight and CRM thinking translate into campaigns that deliver for customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

You'll support and be the main point of contact across the day-to-day planning and delivery of CRM activity, while helping the team identify opportunities to continually improve customer communications.

CRM & Campaign Execution
  • Create and maintain detailed messaging matrices, translating briefs into clear audiences, journeys, messages and campaign requirements.
  • Support the development of always-on, triggered and lifecycle CRM campaigns, working confidently with clients and cross-functional agency teams.
  • Support quarterly campaign planning and manage the day-to-day strategic upkeep of campaigns and briefs.
  • Contribute to test & learn activity, using campaign performance and learnings to help identify opportunities for optimisation.
Data, Insight & Research
  • Research competitors, category trends and CRM best practice, and support the interpretation of customer and campaign data to generate useful insights.

Above all, we're looking for someone who is curious, proactive and keen to develop as a strategist.

You'll ideally bring:
  • Some previous experience or exposure to CRM, digital marketing, customer experience, campaign planning or a related discipline, either agency or client-side.
  • An interest in how brands use data and technology to create better customer experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised way of working.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple briefs in a fast-moving environment.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills with opportunities to present to clients on a regular basis.
  • The confidence to build relationships and collaborate with people from different disciplines and levels of seniority.
  • An analytical mindset, with an interest in understanding data and a willingness to develop those skills further.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
  • The ability to take ownership of your work while knowing when to ask questions or involve others.
  • An enthusiasm for learning and getting involved.

Experience with CRM or marketing platforms is useful, but deep technical expertise isn't required. More important is an appetite to understand how platforms, customer data and communications work together.
