Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Working Capital Sales Director for Leveraged and Mid-Market in Reading. The role focuses on identifying opportunities in receivables and trade finance, building and strengthening client relationships, and communicating new products to customers. A hybrid work arrangement is expected, with occasional travel.

You will work with the Global Trade Solutions team to deliver innovative, receivables-based financing solutions and lead discussions with senior client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business development across Receivables Finance and/or Trade Finance.
• Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for senior-level engagements.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop working capital finance opportunities.
• Assist in establishing new business relationships and strengthen existing ones, ensuring fair outcomes for all customers.
• Communicate new products, propositions and market information to customers.
• Collaborate with structured trade solutions to provide receivables-based solutions.
• Work with Relationship Management in client pitches and discussions.
• Deepen understanding of clients through credit and due diligence reviews.
