SCG Connected in Dummer, Basingstoke is seeking a results-driven Business Development Consultant to drive outbound sales and close new opportunities across our portfolio, including Hosted IP Telephony, Data Connectivity, Cyber Security and more.

You will nurture prospects, map the SCG sales process, forecast accurately, and work with marketing and lead-gen teams to exceed monthly targets while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels.
• Self-motivation with drive to generate and close opportunities.
• Pro-active management of sales pipeline and CRM records.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and map to SCG product portfolio.
• Pro-actively generate sales opportunities via outbound sales/marketing activities.
• Record and maintain sales activity in the CRM and systems.
• Aim to achieve and exceed monthly targets and contribute to team targets.
• Target new customers and cross-sell/upsell into existing relationships.
• Develop trusted partner relationships and follow SCG sales process.
