Job summary

Gleeson Homes is seeking a Recruitment Manager to lead the development and delivery of the company's recruitment strategy and operational activities across functions.

You will advise hiring managers, drive improvements in candidate attraction and employer branding, and oversee ATS implementation while reducing agency dependency and ensuring compliant, customer-focused recruitment services. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on delivery across multiple locations in the UK.

Qualifications

• Evidence of continuing professional development within recruitment, talent acquisition or HR (Essential)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to business locations as required (Essential)
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
• REC qualification or similar recruitment accreditation (Desirable)
• Degree or professional qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned to business objectives and workforce plans.
• Provide professional guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment activity and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
• Lead ATS implementation, adoption and optimization and develop reporting capabilities.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and drive direct sourcing to reduce agency dependency.
• Provide leadership to the Talent Resourcing Partner and foster ongoing development.
• Develop meaningful recruitment metrics and dashboards to support decision-making.
