Job summary

AWE plc in Reading is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Development Manager to lead the new team and embed enterprise-wide frameworks for governance, SRM, and supplier performance across the business. The role drives sustainability, social value, and SME participation while collaborating with Commercial, Programme and Supply Chain stakeholders.

• Proven experience in developing strategy with SRM and governance frameworks.
• Ability to design and implement supply chain governance policies and operating models.
• Experience embedding sustainability, ESG, supplier diversity and SME participation into procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a robust SRM framework aligned to strategic objectives.
• Drive supplier segmentation and performance management across AWE.
• Develop and maintain supply chain policies, standards and templates.
• Lead initiatives to improve supplier relationships and market position as Client of Choice.
• Embed ESG and social value objectives into procurement and development activities.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships across Commercial, Programme and Supply Chain.
• Develop and lead a high performing Supply Chain Development Team.
