Job summary

AWE plc is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Development Manager in Reading, offering hybrid working with a 9-day fortnight and generous annual leave. You will lead the development of supply chain governance, SRM, and ESG initiatives across a busy programme tied to procurement and tendering activities for critical projects.

You will shape enterprise-wide frameworks, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and build a high-performing team to deliver supplier engagement and value.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing strategy with supply chain development and SRM.
• Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and operating models.
• Experience embedding ESG, social value, supplier diversity, and SME participation into procurement.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a robust supplier governance methodology and SRM framework.
• Ensure consistent supplier segmentation and performance management approaches.
• Create and maintain supply chain policies, procedures, standards, tools, and templates.
• Drive improvements in supplier relationship maturity and embed best-practice supplier management.
