Job summary

AWE plc in Reading is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Development Manager to help shape enterprise-wide supply chain practices. You will lead a new team, drive governance, SRM and ESG initiatives, and partner with Commercial and Programme stakeholders.

This role supports the replacement warhead procurement program, offers hybrid work with three days on site and two days remote, and a competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience developing strategy for supply chain development and SRM.
• Experience creating SME strategies aligned with broader supply chain plans.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain supplier governance and SRM to support business objectives.
• Ensure consistent supplier segmentation and performance management across AWE.
• Create and maintain supply chain policies, standards, tools, and templates.
• Improve supplier relationship maturity and embed best-practice principles.
• Deliver initiatives to position AWE as a Client of Choice within markets.
