Job summary

AWE plc is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Development Manager in Reading to lead the newly formed Supply Chain Development team. You will enable the Commercial function to deliver a coherent, enterprise-wide approach to supply chain development across the business, including supporting procurement and tendering activity for the replacement warhead programme.

Reporting to the Principal Supply Chain Development Manager, you will develop governance frameworks, tools, and standards to strengthen

Qualifications

Proven experience in developing strategy with specific experience in supply chain development and SRM.
Experience designing and implementing supply chain governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and operating models.
Experience incorporating sustainability, ESG, social value, supplier diversity, and SME participation objectives into procurement and supply chain strategies.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a robust supplier governance methodology and SRM framework aligned to strategic objectives.
Drive supplier segmentation and performance management across the business.
Create and maintain supply chain policies, procedures, standards, tools and templates.
