Job summary

Rointe Heating is seeking a Specification Sales Manager to lead the UK specification strategy, drive adoption of our products on major projects, and strengthen relationships with housing associations, local authorities, architects, consultants, contractors and developers.

You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing and product teams, monitor market trends and regulatory changes, present performance reports to senior leadership, and travel regularly across the UK to ensure our solutions

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading specification, technical, or commercial teams.
• Strong knowledge of the UK construction ecosystem and specification processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinker able to translate market insights into action.
• Willing to travel regularly across the UK.
• Existing sector network is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive specification strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with housing associations, local authorities, architects, consultants, contractors, developers, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify major project opportunities and secure early engagement to win product specification.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams for alignment and market relevance.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform decisions.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and associations.
• Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.
