Job summary

Excel Construction Recruitment is seeking a proactive field sales professional to sell flat roofing and waterproofing systems across the Northern Home Counties, London and South East territory. You will create specifications, present CPDs and manage projects from start to finish.

Ideal candidates will have experience selling via specification or to contractors, with roofing experience preferred. This role offers training, development and the chance to progress with a leading manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience selling via specification or to contractors in the specified territory.
• Background in roofing or building envelope is preferred.
• Strong ability to develop specifications and present CPD sessions.

Responsibilities

• Sell flat roofing and waterproofing systems to architects, main contractors and roofing contractors.
• Create specifications and present CPD sessions for projects from start to finish.
• Manage a healthy mix of new business and account management across the territory.

Exciting opportunity to join a leading brand within the flat roofing and waterproofing sector selling systems aligned for both residential and commercial projects. The company not only boasts excellent training, a strong name in the market but also the opportunity for both personal and career progression.

The Role

The role is to sell the clients range of flat roofing and waterproofing products via Architects, main contractors and roofing contractors accounts across the Northern Home Counties, London and South East territory. Within the position you will be responsible for creating specifications for commercial new build projects, presenting CPD's, providing technical information to architects and main contractors along with being involved in projects through from start to finish. The position is a healthy mix of account manager and new business as the client already has a very strong name in the market within the territory.

The Area

Field sales role covering East Anglia, Northern Home Counties, London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hertfordshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire.

The Candidate

The client is looking to hear from candidates who have experience of selling via specification or contractors across the above territory. Ideally the candidate will have roofing experience however the client will also consider candidates from a building envelope or insulation product background.
