Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Service Tendering Engineer to join the Service Team in Staffordshire. You will help prepare technical and commercial tender documents, engage with customers, and drive growth by expanding the existing portfolio and winning new business opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a background in the power sector, and a UK driving license. This role requires on-site work in Stone, Staffordshire, with a flexible, customer-focused

Qualifications

Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
Fluent in English.
UK Driving License required.
Background in the power sector.
Knowledge of Hitachi Energy Procut Portfolio desired.

Responsibilities

Prepare/support preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements.
Analyse project requirements with key stakeholders, check that all essential work activities have been identified and produce a realistic project schedule.
Bid Tracking & Reporting, Update bid status using internal tools such as Salesforce Win/Loss Analysis, have an understanding of why tenders succeed or fail.
Feed lessons back into future bids
Understand Customer Service principles and their effect on the business
Operate with a high level of customer engagement
Task scheduling to maintain customer timelines to achieve customer satisfaction in our service and products
