Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Service Tendering Engineer in Staffordshire to support the Service Tendering Manager. You will prepare technical and commercial offers based on customer specs, analyse requirements, and maintain bid status using Salesforce.

You will engage customers, track bids, and feed lessons back to improve future tenders, while ensuring timely delivery and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• UK driving licence is required.
• Background in the power sector.
• Knowledge of Hitachi Energy Procut Portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or support the preparation of technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications.
• Analyse project requirements with key stakeholders and produce a realistic project schedule.
• Bid tracking and reporting; update bid status using internal tools such as Salesforce.
• Understand why tenders succeed or fail (win/loss analysis).
• Feed lessons back into future bids.
• Maintain high level of customer engagement and contribute to service and products delivery.
• Schedule tasks to meet customer timelines and ensure satisfaction.
