Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Service Design Manager to define and implement the service design and transition approach for a large-scale revenue collection and ticketing project. You will lead design activities across the end-to-end service landscape, ensuring governance, compliance and effective delivery into live service.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, ITIL/ISO20000 knowledge and a track record in designing resilient, scalable services and associated artefacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computing or engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in service design and service transition within large-scale IT programmes.
• Strong end-to-end service lifecycle experience including design, testing and transition.
• Experience producing service design artefacts and assurance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain and improve the Service Design and Service Transition Plan.
• Lead end-to-end service designs across design, change, testing, transition and decommissioning.
• Ensure service designs support safe, controlled changes with minimal disruption.
• Define and manage service acceptance criteria, impact assessments and traceability.
• Coordinate across suppliers and interfacing parties for integrated design.
• Drive assurance, governance and compliance across artefacts and audits.
