Methods Business and Digital Technology Limited is seeking an experienced Service Transition Lead to join a major technology transformation programme in London. You will lead the controlled transition of new and changed services into live operation, ensuring they are supportable and understood by service teams from day one.

The role covers identity, endpoints, Microsoft 365, applications, infrastructure, networks and security, coordinating pilots, migrations and cutovers with strong emphasis on

Competenze

• Experience leading service transition within complex technology programmes.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management practices.
• Proven ability to define and manage operational acceptance criteria.
• Experience coordinating go-live and operational readiness across multiple teams.
• Strong understanding of how services move from development to live operational support.
• Experience across cloud, identity, endpoints and hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience developing or assuring support models, escalation paths, SLAs and OLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Define the overall service-transition strategy, transition approach and operational acceptance criteria for the programme.
• Develop and maintain transition plans covering pilots, migration waves, cutovers and handovers into BAU operations.
• Establish clear entry and exit criteria for each stage of service transition and demonstrate operational readiness.
• Coordinate service design and operational readiness activities across technical workstreams and service-management teams.
• Work with programme, project and technical leads to ensure operational requirements are considered throughout design and delivery.
• Ensure appropriate support models are defined and agreed before services enter production.
• Establish service ownership, escalation paths, SLAs and OLAs, and ensure governance is in place.
• Ensure monitoring, backup, recovery, security and availability are designed and understood.
• Produce and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles and operational procedures.
