Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the commercial strategy for a respected solar PV specialist operating across the North West. You will own and grow a pipeline in both public and private sectors, building relationships with senior decision-makers and guiding pricing and tender discussions.

The role offers autonomy within a leadership team, with flexible working options and a profit-related bonus, plus a company vehicle and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven background in sales, business development or commercial partnerships.
• Experience within renewable energy, solar, infrastructure or the wider energy sector is advantageous.
• Demonstrable track record of building pipelines and converting opportunities into sustained revenue.
• Confidence negotiating and pricing at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a pipeline of public and private sector opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across target sectors.
• Lead pricing, costing and commercial negotiations.
• Manage tender submissions and framework bid processes.
• Support diversification of revenue streams beyond public sector procurement.
• Contribute as a core member of the senior leadership team.
