Job summary

Phoenix Software, a leading UK IT solutions and managed service provider, is hiring a Sales Executive to focus on the charities and housing sector. You will identify, develop and convert opportunities, build a strong pipeline and manage deals through the full sales cycle, aligning Phoenix solutions with customer objectives.

Based at our Pocklington HQ with hybrid working (minimum two days in the office), you will nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, grow existing accounts and exceed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales, account management or business development role.
• Strong track record of generating new business and developing customer relationships.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Knowledge of the Charities and/or Housing sectors would be advantageous.
• Understanding of public sector procurement and framework-based purchasing is desirable.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Self-motivated, organised and results-driven.
• Experience within the IT, technology or managed services sector would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within the Charities and Housing sectors.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking and outreach activity.
• Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Understand customer challenges and align Phoenix solutions to meet their business objectives.
• Manage opportunities effectively through the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to close.
• Grow and develop existing customer accounts by identifying additional opportunities and cross-sell potential.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and customer information within CRM systems.
• Work closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, vendors and services, to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Keep up to date with market trends, procurement routes and developments across the Charities and Housing sectors.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales, revenue and activity targets.
