Job summary
Primark is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Planning & Trading Technology team in Reading. You will influence requirements, optimise stock forecasting and support end-to-end delivery across forecasting, allocation and replenishment.
You will collaborate with Product Owners, technology partners and business stakeholders to drive process improvements and measurable business value in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Proven BA experience in retail, supply chain, merchandising or tech
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery
- Ability to convert business needs into clear specs and acceptance criteria
- Experience with process analysis and cross-stakeholder collaboration
- Excellent stakeholder communication and influence skills
- Hands-on with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence for backlog and delivery governance
- Analytical mindset with structured decision-making
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements across planning, supply chain and trading
- Create and maintain user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and process docs
- Analyze current and future state processes to identify gaps and opportunities
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA and other tech partners throughout delivery
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to drive consensus
- Support end-to-end testing, UAT, defects and validation
- Act as liaison between business and technology, driving adoption and value
