Job summary

Primark is seeking an Insight Analyst to join its Applied Insights & Analytics team. The role spans collaboration across Trading, Buying & Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Finance, and Customer teams to deliver data-driven recommendations that inform business decisions.

You will work with stakeholders to understand commercial challenges, build dashboards and reporting, and turn complex data into clear narratives that drive measurable value and growth for Primark.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytics/insights or commercial analysis in retail or consumer goods.
• Strong SQL skills to query, analyse and interpret data to support decisions.
• Experience building dashboards and KPI reporting to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver insights by partnering with stakeholders to translate data into actions.
• Analyse datasets using SQL and reporting tools to uncover trends and risks.
• Create data-driven stories with visualisations and concise recommendations.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards and management reporting packs.
• Identify manual processes and opportunities to automate reporting.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams ensuring data quality and outcomes.
