Job summary

Welsh Water is seeking a Reinstatement Planner to support the Utilities Operations Team in Nelson, Caerphilly. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering reinstatement works safely and on time within contractual targets.

You will schedule resources, monitor progress against SLAs and liaise with operations to resolve conflicts while maintaining records and driving service excellence. Permanent full-time position with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling or coordination.
• Understanding of reinstatement activities, streetworks and planning principles.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
• Knowledge of client SLA requirements and performance management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain reinstatement schedules to maximise utilisation.
• Coordinate reinstatement of excavations considering permits and streetworks law.
• Plan resources, labour, plant and materials using planning systems.
• Manage reactive reinstatement works and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor progress against KPIs and SLAs.
• Liaise with teams to meet timescales and priorities.
• Identify and resolve planning conflicts and constraints.
• Maintain accurate records and provide status updates.
• Support continuous improvement for safety, quality and compliance.
• Ensure activities are planned with safety and compliance as a priority.
