Job summary

Welsh Water in Nelson, Caerphilly is seeking a Reinstatement Planning Team Leader to head a team of planners responsible for programming reinstatement works after utility excavations. You will ensure works are planned efficiently, meet contractual and regulatory timescales, and delivered in line with NRSWA requirements.

This role focuses on leadership, scheduling, performance monitoring, and compliance, coordinating with field operations and local authorities to optimise productivity and service

Qualifications

• Experience leading a planning or scheduling team in utilities or infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of reinstatement processes and regulations (NRSWA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Reinstatement Planners.
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of reinstatement works.
• Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA and local authority rules.
• Engage with authorities, subcontractors and clients.
