Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Reinstatement Planner to support the Welsh Water contract in Nelson, Caerphilly. The role focuses on planning reinstatement activities, coordinating lands access, and ensuring compliance with streetworks legislation and client SLAs.

You will schedule resources, monitor KPIs, and work with operational teams to maximise efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards. A permanent full-time position with a competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling or coordination.
• Experience in utilities, telecoms, highways or infrastructure sectors is desirable.
• Understanding reinstatement activities, streetworks processes and planning principles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
• Knowledge of client SLA requirements and performance management advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain reinstatement schedules to maximise workforce utilisation.
• Coordinate reinstatement works in line with permit and notice durations.
• Plan and schedule resources, labour, plant and materials using planning systems.
• Manage reactive and emergency reinstatement works.
• Monitor progress against contractual KPIs and SLAs.
• Liaise with operations teams and management to ensure timescales.
• Identify and resolve planning conflicts and resource constraints.
• Maintain accurate records and provide status updates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety, compliance and service.
• Ensure activities are planned with focus on safety, quality and compliance.
