Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Stockton on Tees office. The role focuses on delivering exceptional commercial results, including project delivery, commercial reporting and maximising profit.

You will support the contract delivery team with profitability, cash management and cost control, while reporting to the Commercial Manager and advancing your professional development within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• NEC Experience.
• Working towards Professional Qualification.
• Driving license.
• Suitable post degree experience.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction industry conditions of contract.
• Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Input into the application and credit control processes.
• Understanding of income forecast and pricing of variations.
• Understanding of the change control system.
• Understanding of project risk.
• Understanding of the production of forecasting data.
• Understanding of the costing process.
• Management of the full sub-contract cycle and input into sub-contract.
