Job summary

Aureos in Dungeness is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team at our Dungeness office. The successful candidate will help deliver profitable projects, manage cost reporting, and support the contract delivery teams.

You will be responsible for input into applications, cost control, and weekly cost-to-complete reviews, while developing your professional qualifications and contributing to continuous improvement within the business.

Qualifications

Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
NEC Experience.
Working towards Professional Qualification.
Driving license.
Suitable post degree experience.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction industry conditions of contract.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Support the commercial team to ensure profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting of all schemes.
Input into the application and credit control processes.
Assist with weekly cost to complete/budget reviews with the contract delivery teams.
Review weekly site records including allocation sheets and site diaries.
Attend project progress meetings.
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial performance reports.
