Job summary

Aureos are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team in Dungeness, delivering strong commercial results across schemes within the Highways Business Unit.

You will support contract delivery, manage cost reporting, forecast income, and ensure timely applications for payment. A proactive approach to cost control and sub-contract administration is essential to maximise profitability and support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• Working towards Professional Qualification (preferred).
• Experience in contracting commercial department, preferably within the power industry.
• Knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Input into application and credit control processes.
• Understand income forecast and pricing of scope changes.
• Understand change control system and project risk.
• Assist with cost reporting and forecasting data.
• Manage full sub-contract cycle and input into subcontract documentation.
• Assist with weekly cost-to-complete/budget reviews.
• Review site records and attend progress meetings.
• Contribute to monthly financial performance reports.
