Job summary

Aureos, based in Birmingham, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. You will support the commercial function in ensuring profitability, cash management and cost control across multiple schemes.

You will contribute to forecasting, CVRs, sub-contractor management and monthly financial reporting, while developing your professional skills within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant field
• NEC experience preferred
• Working towards a professional qualification
• Driving licence required
• Post-degree experience desirable
• Knowledge of construction industry contracts and terms
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Support commercial team to ensure profitability and cost control across schemes.
• Assist with weekly cost-to-complete and budget reviews with contract delivery teams.
• Input into application, credit control processes and pricing of variations.
• Understand change control systems and production of forecasting data.
• Assist with sub-contractor management and documentation.
• Participate in project progress meetings and monthly financial reporting.
