Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Penrith team within the Highways Business Unit. You will support the Commercial Manager in delivering profitable projects, maintaining robust cost controls, and producing timely financial reports.

The role involves cost forecasting, CVRs, and managing sub-contracts within NEC3/NEC4 frameworks. The position offers a generous salary, 25 days holiday, pension, and on-site parking with health benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in a related field.
• Working towards professional qualification (preferred).
• Experience in contracting commercial department, preferably in power/utility sector.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the commercial team with project delivery, cost control and reporting.
• Support monthly financial performance reports and forecasts.
• Produce cost forecasts, CVRs and input change control data.
• Oversee sub-contract cycle and input sub-contract documentation and payments.
• Attend project progress meetings and maintain organized commercial records.
• Contribute to value engineering and commercial process improvements.
