Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Stockton on Tees office, playing an integral part in delivering commercial results and supporting the contract delivery team to ensure profitability and cash management.

You will report to the Commercial Manager, assist with cost control, forecasting, CVRs, and sub-contract management while gaining experience beyond the core commercial function. A professional development path is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• NEC experience while working towards a professional qualification.
• Driving licence.
• Experience post-degree.
• Knowledge of construction industry contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial team in profitability and cost control across schemes.
• Input into application and credit control processes.
• Support weekly cost-to-complete/budget reviews with contract delivery teams.
• Attend project progress meetings and prepare monthly financial performance reports.
• Develop understanding of CVRs, change control and forecasting data.
