NHS Supply Chain, based in England, is seeking a Project Manager to join the Commercial Medical Technologies team. The role focuses on delivering complex projects and transformation initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and NHS stakeholders to improve patient care and organisational performance.

Hybrid working two days per week in Alfreton and Wakefield offices, with a starting salary of £47,874 rising to £56,322 over three years, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects across full lifecycle within a programme.
• Understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodologies and governance.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the effective delivery of assigned projects and initiatives within timescales, budgets and quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate and manage project activities, identifying risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align with project objectives.
• Apply project management methodologies and controls with robust governance and reporting.
• Provide governance, oversight and reporting for transparency and decisions.
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing actions.
• Collaborate with NHS Supply Chain service providers to support the modernisation programme.
