Job summary

NHS Supply Chain is seeking a Project Coordinator to support delivery of projects and change initiatives from our Nottingham base. The role focuses on coordinating activities, maintaining plans, and engaging stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will assist with risk and dependency management, governance artifacts, and benefits realisation, while contributing to broader change programmes across England and Wales. This hybrid role requires two days on site weekly.

Qualifications

Experience delivering projects in a structured PM environment, with planning, governance and reporting.
Strong organisational and administrative skills to manage priorities and budgets.
Effective stakeholder management and clear project reporting for audiences.
Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, MSP or equivalent governance controls.
Analytical thinking to interpret data and mitigate risks.
Experience leading small projects and coordinating resources.
Project management qualifications or progression toward them.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and related tools.

Responsibilities

Support in developing, maintaining, and tracking project/workstream plans to meet objectives and governance.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement and manage communications and needs.
Assist with risk, issue, dependency and change management processes.
Produce and maintain project documentation, reports, budgets, and governance artifacts.
Support assurance and governance activities per PM frameworks and reporting.
Contribute to benefits realisation via baseline assessments and reviews.
Lead small projects or work packages, coordinating resources and delivering outputs on time and budget.
