Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive large transformational programmes using agile and waterfall methodologies. The role is hybrid with two days on site at our Nottingham office; starting salary £56,476, with potential to rise to £66,443 over three years, and a closing date of 29 September 2026.

You will manage high-complexity projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and work with service providers to deliver outcomes aligned with NHS Supply

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale transformational projects.
• Experience with MSP/Prince2/Agile methodologies.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of healthcare sector, public or private.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of large transformational programmes and projects with budgets up to £3m.
• Ensure end users are supported throughout delivery for successful change adoption.
• Deliver the key strategic outcomes of the assigned project.
• Pro-actively monitor progress, capacity, pacing and resourcing; initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with business owners, senior leaders and NHS Supply Chain service providers.
