Job summary

Bovis is seeking a Consulting, Planning Manager - Built Environment in the United Kingdom. You will develop project plans, programmes and planning reports in line with Bovis procedures, and work with the project team to define preconstruction and construction methodologies for efficient delivery.

You will report progress against contracts, help prepare short- and medium-term programmes, and chair planning meetings to align milestones. Strong Excel, PowerPoint and P6 skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction methodology and building technology.
• Knowledge of pre-construction processes and procurement methods.
• Familiarity with primary contract forms and commercial terms.
• Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders and senior management.
• Ability to produce reports and diagrams to convey sequences.
• Working knowledge of P6.
• Knowledge of CPA planning techniques and project controls.
• Experience in the construction industry sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project plan, programme and planning report per Bovis procedures.
• Develop preconstruction and construction methodology with the project team.
• Report progress against contract and delivery programmes at intervals.
• Assist in creating and statusing medium and short-range programmes.
• Produce weekly project dashboard with updates and issues.
• Advise project directors on critical issues and strategy.
• Chair weekly planning meetings to coordinate programmes and milestones.
• Review time impacts of change proposals.
• Record time impacts for benchmarking on future projects.
• Facilitate team understanding and ownership of the plan.
