Job summary

AECOM is seeking a consultant planner to join the UK Planning Practice, with options to be based in London, Bristol, Leeds or Manchester and with hybrid working. You will work on planning policy projects, engage with clients and stakeholders to secure outcomes, and contribute to infrastructure and development planning across the team.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience contributing to planning policy and strategy development.
• Client focus with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative working approach.
• Degree in Town Planning and RTPI membership or working towards membership.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research and analysis for planning policy projects.
• Assist on elements of policy projects, including local authority policy and strategy development and local plan evidence studies.
• Assist in formulating strategic planning advice to clients and internal teams.
• Provide effective representation for the organisation, developing and managing relationships with clients and authorities.
• Sharing technical knowledge and excellence.
