Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is seeking a consultant planner to join the Planning Practice across our offices in London - Aldgate, Bristol, Leeds or Manchester with a flexible hybrid working model.

You will work on planning policy projects, engage with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to infrastructure and development studies within a multidisciplinary team.

We value RTPI membership, strong report writing, and a proactive, collaborative approach to delivering successful planning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant planning policy experience in consultancy or public sector.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and communicate clearly.
• Strong collaborative and stakehold(er) engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research and analysis for planning policy projects.
• Assist policy strategy development and local plan evidence studies.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships.
