Job summary

AECOM is seeking a consultant planner to join our London, Aldgate, Bristol, Leeds, or Manchester offices with flexible hybrid working. You will contribute to planning policy projects, work with multi-disciplinary teams, and engage with clients and stakeholders to secure successful outcomes.

You will join a busy Planning Practice that handles large, complex projects for public and private sectors and offers opportunities for career development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience of contributing to planning policy and strategy development in a consultancy or public sector role.
• Ability to produce high quality technical reports and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planning policy research and analysis.
• Assist on policy projects and local plan evidence studies.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Support business development and preparation of tenders.
