Job summary

AECOM is seeking a consultant planner to support planning policy projects from our London, Bristol, Leeds or Manchester offices, with hybrid working options. You will engage with clients and stakeholders, assist in policy and strategy development, and contribute to multi-disciplinary project delivery.

You will join a growing Planning Practice within a global infrastructure firm, with opportunities to work on major UK projects and develop your career in a collaborative environment under RTPI

Qualifications

• Relevant experience contributing to planning policy and strategy development in a consultancy or public sector role.
• Client focus with good interpersonal skills and collaborative working approach.
• Business development mindset with some experience in work winning and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research and analysis for planning policy projects.
• Assist on policy projects including local authority policy development and plan evidence studies.
• Assist formulating strategic planning advice and represent the organisation with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and budget; uphold QA and H&S principles.
