The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer from the Working Age Services Directorate in the Digital Transformation Group. You will turn data into insights to influence decision making and support service improvements for millions of customers across the UK.

In this role you will produce MI and visualisations, develop analytical products with SQL, and lead projects that enhance Universal Credit and Labour Market services, working with

Qualifications

  • Experience producing MI with Power BI or similar tools.
  • Strong SQL or similar data querying skills.
  • Ability to lead analytics projects and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Produce MI and visuals using Power BI to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Develop analytical products using SQL to ensure outputs are accurate and reproducible.
  • Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights and inform improvements.
  • Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
  • Present complex data and findings clearly for non-technical audiences.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment contributing to team objectives and continuous improvement.
