Job summary

Trouw Nutrition GB, a Nutreco company, is hiring a Material Planner at Ashbourne to own material availability across production. You will work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted supply and support operational performance.

We seek an analytical problem-solver with ERP and Excel experience, strong communication, and the ability to adapt as priorities change in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, analytical, data-driven with a willingness to continuously learn.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring materials are delivered on time and in line with production requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, supplier performance, and changing demand patterns to maintain continuity of supply and minimize risk.
• Work closely with Production Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, and suppliers to coordinate material availability and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
• Analyse planning data and ERP information to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage supply disruptions, shortages, and stock-related challenges, balancing business priorities while maintaining customer service levels.
