Job summary

A UK retail logistics firm is seeking a Logistics Planner to produce Distribution Centre & Transport volume forecasts and support Logistics projects. Candidates should possess strong PC skills, experience with SQL, and ideally come from a Logistics Planning background. The position offers hybrid working, with three days per week in the office and an environment that values inclusivity and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Strong PC skills including advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience of writing SQL queries to manage large amounts of data.
• Ability to communicate cross functionally.
• Ideally a background from within a Logistics Planning or Merchandising role.

Responsibilities

• Produce DC & Transport annual budget aligning activity to sales plans.
• Develop a new planning model reflecting the Logistics network.
• Lead weekly Merchandising & Logistics re-forecasting processes.
• Support Logistics development agenda with business data analysis.
• Coordinate Logistics activity for business projects.

Skills

Strong PC skills including advanced Microsoft Excel
